Submit your video footage of Aotearoa native species in the wild and be in to win a Predator Free NZ and Nikon prize bundle.

To celebrate the charm, charisma, and curiosity of native wildlife, we invite you to enter our video competition in collaboration with Nikon NZ! We welcome all videos from amateurs to professionals, and everything in between. You can capture clips on a camera, phone or any device. Show us some moments we’d otherwise miss, and you’re in with a chance to win.



First prize: Nikon Zfc with NIKKOR Z 28mm lens, Predator Free NZ poster bundle and cap

Second prize: Predator Free NZ poster bundle
Finalists will be featured on social media



Videos will be judged by Nikon NZ and Predator Free NZ. We’re looking for clear shots and unique moments captured of birds, bats, reptiles and insects.

Submit your entries* via the form below before 30th April 2026. Winners announced week commencing 18th May via social media and email.



Eligible content* is…

  • shot in Aotearoa New Zealand, in the last couple of years
  • features native species in the wild
  • 5-60 seconds, with or without sound
  • filmed with respect for the safety of the animal
