We have identified a range of field trips available for schools in the Manawatū/Whanganui region.

Bushy ParkFull day with various rotations (40-45 minutes each) of 10-15 students (total of 60 students per day). They can tailor programmes to suit and possible topics include wetlands, introduced predators and habitat types.$2 per studentGet in touch
Horizons Regional CouncilOffer a variety of environmental education programmes. Their environmental educator is available to speak at schools and provide advice and information to teachers including developing projects for NCEA assessments. They can also provide advice on best methods to remove introduced predators from school grounds and if available, lend out traps.Get in touch
